There is no limit on how many different individual divisions/codes a gymnast would like to enter.

Entries to the 2024 Zespri AIMS Games must be submitted online through the online registration system.
Registrations will only be accepted from the school's designated Zespri AIMS Games coordinator.
Schools are allocated a unique Zespri AIMS Games registration log in code to complete their entries.
Competitors must be over 10 years of age and under 13 years of age, as at 31st December the year before the tournament year. Competitor’s birthdates will be required on school registration documentation. For the 2025 Zespri AIMS Games, the eligible birth years are 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Individual codes:
All codes, Men’s Artistic (MAG), Woman’s Artistic (WAG), Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG), Trampoline (TRA), Tumbling (TUM) and Aerobics (AER) divide the gymnasts into levels of experience (divisions) as below. Aerobics, Trampoline and Tumbling divisions are further divided into Men’s and Women’s. Open athletes should be registered according to the level or STEP they last competed in the GNZ Competitive Programme.

Schools can find Flyers, Twisters and Open Novice routines and requirements outlined in the Zespri AIMS Games Gymnastics Handbook (released closer to the event), which once finalised will be available at a link above or from manager@argosgymsport.co.nz with links to supporting YouTube clips.
Gym for All (GfA) are those gymnasts participating in recreational after school gymnastics classes at their local gymnastics club.
GNZ GfA and Gymnastics New Zealand (GNZ) competitive routine requirements not detailed in the Zespri AIMS Games Gymnastics Handbook can be accessed via gymnasts’ clubs or their affiliated GNZ coach, via the relevant GNZ Technical Handbook which is located on the GNZ member only page (Club Portal).
Competitive gymnasts who wish to compete in another gymnastics code should be entered in that code's Open Novice Division or above.
A retired gymnast is someone who has not competed in a competitive event in the year of Zespri AIMS Games. A retired athlete may compete one level down from where they last competed.
Please consult your local gymnastics club if you are unsure of what division you should be entering.

We recommend that athletes competing on Sunday purchase tickets to Show 2 of the opening ceremony (7:00 PM show), as competition will still be taking place during Show 1.

Applicable apparatus for each division: will be found in the 2025 Zespri AIMS Games Manual.
The 2025 Zespri AIMS Games gymnastics handbook will be available on the Gymnastics New Zealand website (schools page) closer to the event.
Managers please note – each code/division is required to have 1 adult (teacher/coach) per school, per group (some schools may be split into 2 or 3 groups depending on numbers) on the floor in appropriate attire to represent the school. This person’s name, mobile and email address must be listed on the entry form. One teacher/coach per school group on the floor (up to 10 athletes).
Medal table points will be counted from the points 1st place through to 6th place.
Prizegiving will be held as soon as possible after the completion of the session.
Medals and certificates will be awarded for 1st – 3rd place overall placings.
Certificates only will be awarded for 4th – 6th place overalls placings.
